We started the day off looking at some blog entries and to see the good and bad things about what they did. There were three different paragraphs for us to look at and we had to correct the grammar. After that we fed back to the group and said the mistakes for the paragraphs and it just shows how if you don't proof read you will make these silly mistakes.
After that we went onto do a worksheet about homophones. These are words what sound alike however they are spelt differently. For example there, their and they're. They all sound the same however they are all spelt differently. I found this worksheet very helpful because I sometimes get muddled up with the homophones and I'm not always sure which one is correct.
Next off we went to the place called the outside world! We did an activity about what we enjoyed this unit. It showed that a lot of people liked designing their 8 bit games and improving their Photoshop skills. Also we were answering some questions like do you like Comic Sans MS or not and is Wii better than Xbox? Clearly the winners were that most people like Comic Sans MS and the Wii because its true.
Finally we did a task about copyright. This was a research task so we had to find out all about copyright and how it works. This was quite fun to do because I never knew that so much different content could be copyrighted. Also we looked at the common mistakes in A2T1 and then we had about an hour to correct our work. I finished that off at about two then finished off my copyright document.
Overall this has been an enjoyable week with lots of events. My favorite part of the week was designing all the 8 bit graphics because it made me a lot more confident when using Photoshop. Also it showed me that you can do so much with Photoshop quite easily.
